The camp offers safe transportation between the home and camp daily via a bonded, licensed carrier. Arrangements are at the Director's discretion, based on the number of campers registered from a particular area.

Getting to Breezemont with Camp Transportation

Breezemont vehicles pick up most children between 8:20-9:00 AM for the ride to camp. Breezemont vehicles drop off campers at home between 4:45- 5:20 PM in most cases. Our vehicles transport campers from as far as New York City and as close as Armonk Village. Transportation is included in the camp price.

Getting to Breezemont Without Camp Transportation

If you care to provide your own transportation, you may drop off your child to our gazebo during our regular arrival time between 9:00 and 9:20 AM. To pick up your child, you may do so only between periods until 2:10*, at snack time pick-up: 3:00, or at 4:30.**

Children dropped off must be signed in. Children picked up must be signed out.

Late Arrivals and Early Pick-Ups:

Late Arrivals:

Arrivals after 9:30am are considered "Late Arrivals". To drop off camper after 9:30am, please observe the following procedures:

  • You will need to park on the front lawn, stop in the office to be checked in, and then camper will be delivered to your his or her group.
  • Never bring your child directly to the group—we need to make transportation and the office aware of the late arrival.

Early Pick-ups:

All policies and procedures are in place for the safety and enjoyment of you child’s camp experience. The camp will expect that you are aware of these important policies and procedures.

Important Security Policy:

Two ID cards will be sent to you in early June. In addition to a written note or phone call letting Breezemont know about a pick-up, one of these cards MUST be presented by ANYONE who is to pick up or visit your child from camp (this includes parents, grandparents, play-dates, etc.) For your child’s protection we will carefully follow this procedure. Please put one of these cards immediately into your wallet, and give the other cards to someone who is authorized to pick up or visit your child. Anyone other than a parent will also be required to show a driver’s license. Treat your private identification number with care. It is not to be shared with others.

We are also enclosing 2 Vehicle Parking Passes. We are requiring all vehicles parked on the camp grounds to have a sign in the windshield identifying the family’s name.

Pick ups before 4:30pm are considered "Early Pick-ups". For Early Pick-Ups we will have your child waiting for you. To pick up your camper before 4:30pm, please observe the following procedures:

  • Notify the office no later than 8:30am in the morning for early pick-ups.
  • To notify the office about early pick-ups for campers who use camp transportation, please use our BUS MAIL. Bus Mail is where a parent or guardian gives a written message directly to the van monitor who then delivers it to the camp office. There are "Breezemont Transportation Notes" provided specifically for these correspondences.
  • Although we realize that unexpected things come up, ample notice helps us serve you and your child better.

Other Considerations:

Children dropped off must be signed in. Children picked up must be signed out.

*To pick your child up before snack time (between periods up to and including the break at 2:10), meet him/her in the main office, and check him or her out with the Office Coordinators.

**To pick your child up at 3:00 or at 4:30, meet him/her in the Gazebo and sign him/her out with a Gazebo administrator.

**If you want to pick up your child after 3:00, you can pick him or her up only after all of our camp vehicles have left the grounds at 4:30. This is for safety and to avoid potentially dangerous traffic situations on Cox Avenue.

When parking or leaving the grounds, please follow the lead of our parking attendant. Avoid parking on Cox Avenue.
